Inspired by the Robert Rauschenberg artwork “Hiccups”, seen this summer in the “Among Friends” exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art, AMONG FRIENDS reflects and responds to the strength and illumination we find through art, friendship and community.
The show will consist of over 100 pieces of 9 x 7 inch handmade paper, each worked on by a different artist, zipped together into one continuous piece.
Each piece is for sale individually for $250 with a portion of all sales going to Planned Parenthood.
The show will be open to the public during DUMBO Open Studios weekend,
April 28–29, 1 to 6 pm, at 55 Washington Street, studio 257, second floor.
